At the 36^th anniversary of the foundation of the ACECR, the President of the ACECR, Dr. Hamidreza Tayebi, delivered a talk on the achievements of the Research Centre. The President, began his speech with an overview on the activities done by the ACECR since 1393.

According to ACECR President, Dr. Tayebi, the production of various chemicals for industry, TPA drug, herbal remedies for the treatment of Alzheimer's and medicine for the treatment of diseases, have been among the achievements of the ACECR.

“Research done in the country has been based on the needs of the industry and the new technology. University-industry collaboration is important in the marketing efforts of the products, and in creating and enhancing the sustainability of the research and development. Unfortunately, due to issues in the country and the willingness to purchase foreign products, the consumer’s tendency to buy domestic products is very low.” he said.

The President added: “activities should be based on Research, Academic, Cultural and Entrepreneurship, national needs and indigenous advantages”. 

According to him, scientific work must be compatible in national and international fields.

The President of the ACECR stated: "In the field of research and technology in the country, we must have technology transfer, especially in construction projects, meaning that we should also use domestic technology and products”. We also believe that research should be mission-oriented in the country.
